Slurry transportation

In order to adequately supply self-propelled machines or slurry spreaders with high impact power in the field and thus avoid idle times, very large tractors are often used for delivery in practice. The ULT-18 is a two-axle slurry tanker optimized for payload with an innovative design concept. The self-supporting tank made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) is equipped directly with two air-sprung axles without the need for a separate chassis.

The GRP construction also has high corrosion resistance to slurry and biogas substrate, and additional coatings on the inside of the tank are not required. This reduces the tare weight by 40 % compared to similar slurry tankers with steel tanks, while increasing the payload by 19 %. The two-axle design with turntable steering enables the use of smaller tractors and quick coupling and uncoupling.
