Fully automatic Section-Control regulation of the working width of slurry distributors is inconceivable without automatable shut-off valves for individual spreading nozzles. Pneumatic valves for shutting off, regulating and metering liquid manure already exist. Based on an ISOBUS control system, these typically work by inflating an internal balloon-like element. This can interfere and cause obstructions. Zunhammer is known throughout the industry for its customer-friendly and practical solutions for slurry spreading and has now introduced a new solution:
The FLUSTO valve has a new design for quick and easy shut-off of the slurry flow in a slurry hose leading to the outlet of the distributor nozzle. The process is controlled fully automatically via ISOBUS. When the valve is open, the slurry flow is not obstructed because there is no interfering pipe taper. The inner hose has full passage. When air pressure is applied, the elastic inner black slurry hose is compressed and blocks the flow of slurry. The inner hose has high restoring forces and can retain foreign bodies flowing past. The elastic and transparent housing is narrow. The separation of slurry and air can be seen quickly and easily. The narrow design makes FLUSTO valves very space-saving. The transparency makes maintenance and troubleshooting much easier without tools or other aids.
